Every mode starts with 4 blocks and adds one after each win. Practice has unlimited attempts. Classic starts with 5 attempts: each wrong tap costs one, and each completed level adds 5 to your remaining attempts. Hard starts with 60 seconds: each win keeps your remaining time and adds 60 seconds. The clock starts on the first tap of each level, continues while you are away, and pauses on the level-complete screen. Run out of attempts or time and the bacon burns. Restarting or switching modes begins a new run.
